In the autumn, the area ramps up in anticipation of the Texas Jazz Festival. The festival features home-grown talent and attracts musicians from surrounding areas. The festival has been a tradition since 1961, and in addition to music, attendees can enjoy food and arts and crafts. With its mission to increase awareness of all types of jazz, including traditional, modern and Latin, The Texas Jazz Festival Society pulls out all the stops with this festival.
We invite you to join us for one of our winter events. During December, the Harbor Lights Festival offers fun for all ages. With a children's parade, stage entertainment, and family activities, the festival is full of holiday cheer and celebration. There are also food vendors and holiday items.
Spring time is the secret of the Texas Coast. The temperature is moderate, vacationers are at a minimum and there is something special about being around the Gulf when the beach is empty.
This three-day event features visual art exhibits, sand sculpting, live entertainment, music & dance performances, cinema screenings, folk arts, and workshops. There is even a KidZone for participants 12 years old and under! The Festival of the Arts is held annually during the last weekend in March.

The Bay Jammin’ CONCERT Series will be held every Thursday, June 5–August 14, from 7:30pm–9:30pm. It will showcase a wonderful musical group each week for your entertainment. Music will be LIVE—in a variety of genre from rock, country, world beat, jazz, blues and more. All concerts are FREE.
The Bay Jammin’ CINEMA Series will be held every Friday, June 6–August 15, beginning at dark. The audience can enjoy an entire summer filled with action, adventure, and comedy. All films are family-friendly and will be closed captioned. Movies are FREE, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the great entertainment with family and friends.
Don't miss out on the festivities! The Big Bang celebration includes a 4th of July Parade, a Harbor Bridge light show, and of course fireworks! These events and many more make the Corpus Christi Big Bang celebration a local favorite.
At home on the island. Our goal is to help you feel at home on the island. Each unit has a living room, dining room, full kitchen, one or two bedrooms, one or two baths, central heat and air, washer/dryer, coffee maker, cable TV and WIFI, and is fully furnished with towels, sheets, pots/pans, dishes and silverware, all the comforts of home.
